Where mastery grows, gently.
The Seed
AIBA was born from a simple, loving realisation: the girls playing for Deivės were splitting themselves between school and sport, travelling to the club, trying to hold both worlds together without letting either one fall. Alina saw what that cost them. And she saw something else too: in the United States, in France, communities invest in their young talent with dignity, with world-class coaches, pristine courts, nutrition, education, and real care. She wanted that for Lithuanian girls. So she built it. An academy where basketball and education live under the same roof, where a girl can study in the morning and train in the afternoon without losing her breath or her joy. Great coaches, a nutritionist, a gym, dignified facilities, everything sponsored so that talent, not money, opens the door.
But Alina’s vision reaches further than Lithuania. She sees this model expanding to Africa and the Middle East, to every place where gifted girls deserve the chance to grow and reach greatness. And she understood something essential: care is the method. You raise athletes well by raising them as whole human beings, teaching them leadership, teaching them how to manage a life beyond sport, so that when the day comes, whether they step onto a professional court or into the wider world, they carry tools for both.
The Voice
There is a kind of academy that trains athletes, and then there is a kind that tends them. AIBA is the second kind. The voice carries the same dignity as Deivės, but softer, more intimate. It speaks to parents as much as to players, with the steady reassurance that their daughter will be held in her wholeness, not just her strongest self. Coaches teach with the same care they bring to a drill. The structure holds without squeezing. There is room to grow into a full human being, not just a champion.
The Expression
The design carries that same quality: steady, clean, warm in its discipline. Academy colours that feel reliable. Layouts that breathe the way a well-organised day breathes. Nothing is flashy, nothing is forced. You look at it and you feel that someone has thought this through with love, the way you’d design a home for someone you care about deeply.
The Bloom
AIBA gave the Deivės dream its foundation, and then it gave it wings. When girls no longer had to split themselves between worlds, something settled in them. They could be students and athletes in the same breath, held by a community that sees the whole of them. And the vision keeps growing. What began as one academy in Lithuania is becoming a model for the world, the quiet proof that when you invest in a young woman with real care, with dignity, with attention to who she is becoming and not only what she can score, she doesn’t just reach greatness. She carries it forward.
